Wireless Esophageal pH Test (Bravo Test)
If you have acid reflux, your doctor might recommend wireless esophageal pH test, also known as Bravo pH test, to measure acidity in the esophagus (the passageway between your mouth and stomach).
Video Capsule Endoscopy
This procedure involves the patient ingesting of a small capsule which is roughly the size of a vitamin tablet. The capsule contains a tiny camera that can take 2-4 images per second for eight hours as it travels through the digestive tract and has been specifically developed to view the small bowel.
Gastroscopy
A gastroscopy is a procedure in which a narrow and flexible tube called an endoscope is used to look inside the oesophagus, stomach and first part of the small intestine (duodenum). The endoscope is fitted with a camera and sends images of the inside of your oesophagus, stomach and duodenum to a monitor.
Colonoscopy
Colonoscopy is more precise than an X-ray. This procedure also allows other instruments to be passed through the colonoscope. These may be used, for example, to painlessly remove a suspicious-looking growth/lesion/polyp or to take a biopsy (a small piece for further analysis). Colonoscopy may help to avoid surgery or to better define what type of surgery may be needed in the future.
Esophagea Manometry
Manometry is measurement of pressure within various parts of the gastrointestinal tract. It is done by passing a catheter containing solid-state or liquid-filled pressure transducers through the mouth or anus into the lumen of the organ to be studied
Reflux and LPR Symptom Checker
The first part assesses digestive symptoms (typical reflux) and the second part assesses Laryngo‑Pharyngeal (LPR) symptoms, it's important that both parts are completed. Complete the test in full to find your digestive and LPR scores. We will also email you a report on your results free of charge.
24 Hours PH Monitoring
24-hour pH impedance testing is one method your doctor can use to evaluate acid and nonacid reflux from your stomach into your esophagus (the passageway between your mouth and stomach) over the course of a day.
