Where procedures are done
Consultations are held on the island. Day procedures such as gastroscopy and colonoscopy are done at a nearby private hospital, usually Caboolture Private Hospital (about 30 minutes’ drive) or North Lakes Day Hospital. These are done under sedation, so you will need someone to drive you home and stay with you afterwards. Our rooms will send written preparation instructions; read more about preparing for your procedure.
